Area size

  • 40 Hectares.

Results

  1. Approximately 45% of the project area is at risk of encountering unexploded bombs (100, 500, 1,000, and 2,000lb caliber and fragmentation bombs: 260 lb caliber) (air raid causation scenario).
  2. Throughout the project area, there is a risk of encountering blind-fired German and Allied ordnance shells (ground combat causation scenario).
  3. In the case of the military hollow forms, there is potential exposure to left-behind or buried ordnance (ground combat causation scenario).
